We are occasionally called upon to rescue either a Start-up of a complex system gone awry, or an existing process that has become unusable through misuse or neglect. We can respond quickly to identify the problems and remove them. Once the Process is on its' feet, it is possible to go on to the Optimization phase if required. Most (but by no means all) of our Remediation work has been on Start-ups of very large Steel Furnaces - the OEMs in these cases went out of business as a result of a very protracted (and therefore expensive) struggle with equipment that was either supplied by a Vendor in a condition that could not operate or that had not been properly integrated before the Start-up commenced. We have worked directly for OEMs, thus extricating them from lawsuits and placing them in a position to expect payment for project completion. We have worked for the End User, completely salvaging huge Capital investments and delivering performance well beyond the design expectations. We have also worked for Engineering Firms asked to consult in finding solutions for failed Start-ups of several different types of combustion process equipment.
