The generation of huge Fuel Savings is the natural result of our careful approach to detailed Combustion Control Setup. We don't know why so few installations appear to be set up properly. Our mantra, when commissioned to optimize Combustion Equipment for maximum efficiency is "We are paid for by the time we leave the site". This is almost universally true. Certainly we have been involved in situations where the equipment already in place had to be upgraded or replaced at a level of expense that has stretched this out to 6 months or so, but by and large we are able to remove Huge chunks from the fuel budgets for most of the equipment that we work on with very little, if any, added equipment. We employ relatively simple proven concepts to yield spectacular boosts in system efficiency. Our most impressive accomplishments have been on Furnaces already equipped with efficiency enhancing stuff, like Recuperators, Regenerative Burners, Pulse Firing, and integrated PLC based Controls. They are simply not usually configured correctly in the beginning, and as a result are often difficult to control, inefficient, and produce lower product quality than they are capable of.
